System record: 50-8 (+24.05 units)

breakdown:

One Unit: 29-29 (+0.87 units)
Two Unit: 19-10 (+20.78 units)
Four Unit: 2-1 (+2.40 units)
Overall : 50-40 (+24.05 units)

System Play for monday:

91. Arizona +1.43 (1 unit). Listed at pinnacle..

after much thought, i decided to stick with my system style of playing and posting, no need to change anything that is up ($2405) in less than 3 weeks.. however, i am going to play my true system from now on.. Most all my games will be played beginning with game 2 of a series, i dont want to play many game 1's because the risk is too high, when having to go to a game 3 and a 4 unit play.. staying off of game 1's, keeps you out of those situations.. I will be selecting about 1 (game 1),, each set of series... as usual, my best to all..

I noticed you and Kruser both had rough weekends. As you know that is to be expected. Seems to me that if you are handicapping gamesthat is one thing. If you are playing a system such as your game 2-3-4 that is another. Trying to keep them seperate may be to much work for you and i dont think anyone is asking for it that way, but I dont think you have to be apoligetic for only having 1 game in game 1 of a series.I presume we are all big boys and girls here and if we choose to follow your system and it has bad weeks so be it. For instance I do your idea a.l. only and i skipped the middle of the week 2 game series. so week 1 last weekend i was plus 3 units and last weekend i was a loser and the combination is minus .8 unit. I have differant exemptions than you have.

I think your off to a terrific start and making money early which is the important thing. most of all since it is your money thats on the line that using your judgement and being successful is what counts. There are enough handicappers around here that if you only have 1 game thats o.k. dont feel bad. but if your going to only have one game it better be a winner::)). regards bob

Good luck, I did see on ESPN that Toronto fired their batting coach. I believe they might've scored 3 runs over 27 innings over the weekend. Good luck everybody:party:

SSI, I've read many of your posts over the last couple of years and give you credit for some very good angles and insights.

I'll have to say that your Martindale-Lite series system play takes balls. I see how well you are doing so far and am curious how you evaluated this system to be a long term moneymaker.

I really appreciate your sharing your research , etc. on the forum and hope the system works out for you. Personally, I wouldn't have the stomach to pull the trigger on those four unit plays.

gak, i totally agree -- about the 4 unit plays and im going to try my best to avoid them, the best way to avoid them in my system is to stay away from game 1's in a series, im only going to play a few..

as for long term, the key is only doubling down ONCE.. i did this same system last year - with 2 double downs (4 unit plays) and do not find it successful,, you have to win about 8 out of 9 to make any money...

the word martingale reeks of bad money management and i totally agree, however by waiting on game 2 and applying a few angles, i think this can work. time will tell...
