I thought baseball was anal about gambling.

Who are they kidding. There are gambling ads at just about every stadium in the country. I saw 5 or 6 of them at America West Arena last night including two huge ones in the stairwells that had chips on them about the size of small people, but of course David Stern would say "they don't accept NBA bets".

How can the Justice Dept tell Esquire magazine--NO Offshore Gaming Ads, Yet they appear at Major league Events!!

Is this a screwed up mess or what??

NBA is different. The NFL and the NBA accept gambling on their sport to some degree because they know what it means to TV revenue.

Baseball is completely different. They don't want any association with it. (So they say.)

Miccosuccee sign is very visable at marlin games.
