SEA @ TEX over 10 -120

The Mariners and the Rangers went over the total three times in their first three hth games this season, scoring on average 13.7 runs pg. And that happened @ Safeco Field, which is, by the way, the bottom 5 stadium in batting average (historically). This time around, they'll face each other in a top 5 BA and OPS stadium in the majors, the Ameriquest field in Arlington. To make the matters worst, they'll open this series with Pineiro and Drese, two guys who both have a 6.39 ERA. Both starters struggle historically against tomorrow's opponents. Pineiro is 0-4 in last 4 @ Ameriquest field, allowing 18 ER in 18 IP in last 3 starts there, and Drese allowed 18 ER in 11.1 IP in last 3 starts against Seattle. Both teams have healthy offenses, capable of scoring 7+ runs on any given night, as long as they don't face lefties, and both Pineiro and Drese are righties. Both pitchers are getting a solid run support so far this season, and when I add a very unimpressive Texas' bullpen into the equation, i get a nice value with the over in this one.

DET @ KC under 9 -105

What we have here is two very underrated pitchers both seeking revenge for this season's losses, against one overrated and one simply bad offense. Westbrook was amazing in three out of his four starts this season, allowing 4 ER in 24 IP, with his only bad effort being that game vs Detroit where a whole Detroit lineup stepped up to compensate for the absence of two key batters. As for Robertson, he will try to bounce back from his worst start of the season, when he allowed 6 ER in 3.1 IP against one of the best offenses in the league (Baltimore) and Cleveland might be the best opportunity for him to get back on track, as he allowed 3 ER or less in 6 straight starts against the Tribe. What else we have here ? We have one hot (DET) and one surprisingly good and consistent bullpen (CLE), which can only help the 'under' bettors here. For both pitchers this will be the first time this season to see the same lineup twice and I expect them both to take advantage from that situation.

Good luck all,

WS
