Just a great game. Houston has a great shot. They stymied Phoenix in two games this year and have an awesome road record. A definate contender.

Maybe its Avery...I still can't figure why Nellie just left this team...zero playoff coaching experience.

-2 is a gift

Mavs looked totally lost at the end of the game. Giving up an 8 point lead at home in a 'must win' spot like that is pathetic. TMac hit the shot but he was WIDE open. Why is Van Horn even in the game at that point trying to play D? Avery Johnson looks like a rookie coach. Nowitski has stunk too. He had Sura posted up with the game on the line and then trew back to Van Horn who looked like he was gonna wet his pants when he got the ball. I think my future bet on Dallas to win it all is toast. This series is over barring TMac getting hurt

Anyone see the look on Mark Cuban's face right after McGrady's shot?

He looked like a guy who just spent 20 some million for a coach who had Keith Van Horn in the game for a defensive stop.

Cuban always looks a little deranged to me. He sure doesn't look like a millionaire, he looks like some doofus who inherited money or won the lotto

Cuban is just a geek turned rich. Money can't put the cool into the man. That show he had was awful, but you could see he wanted to be friends with the people who were "cool".

i don't see him putting together a contender anytime soon...it's like he's chasing with all of those moves

Here's an interesting stat

No wonder finding out what ref is working BEFORE a game is next to impossible:

Mavs owner Mark Cuban posted on his blog Sunday the team's playoff record since 2002 based on who officiated each game. They came in 0-6 in games worked by Monday night's crew chief, Dan Crawford. They were in 1-3 under both of the other officials, Greg Willard and Mark Wunderlich. They had at least one win for all other refs who worked at least three games.

i was laughed at by a few in the NBA Forum when i predicted Houston would be dangerous in the Playoffs. This was right after they lost to Atl and the Knicks.
Sura was still injured at the time, and before the Wesley and James were acquired.

I say they close things out tomorrow night. What impresses me about this team is that they can run with a team like Phoe, or they can go halfcourt, vs. a team like SA or Denver. They can also take those kind of teams out of "their game".

If Denver can upset the Spurs, it's anybody's ballgame in the West.
