Is the horse racing industry out there suffering along the same lines as the midwest? We are hurting because of riverboats.

Seems to be. The competition of the Indian casinos & online gaming has really put a dent in their on track attendance. Santa Anita and Del Mar seem to be keeping afloat though. The HP casino is doing quite well though, maybe theyre planning an expansion?

It has been informally for sale for years. Now that slots at tracks appears dead for good Churchill is finally publicly throwing in the towel. The amazing thing out of this is the land is supposed to be used to build housing. Anyone who has lived in LA for any length of time would see the irony in that. For countless years Inglewood has been seen as about the last place you would want to live, but land and housing in LA is so expensive guess its not a hard sell anymore.
