Searched all over and could not find the answer. I'm sure one of you "experts" will know how to fix this.

I wanted to clear out my history on pages like ebay and google.

I cleared my cache and my cookies but when I go to those pages the previous searches still show up.

For instance, when I go to ebay and type in an item to look up a list shows all of my previous searches.

Does anyone know how to delete these.

Thanks for your help.

Assuming you are using IE:

On the menu bar go to Tools --> Internet Options

Select the Content tab

Click on AutoComplete

Uncheck the Forms box

Now you can hide the evidence of your porn searches.

thank you.

Actually it was my wifes mothers day gift -- but getting some of the porn off helps as well.

To hide stuff from normal people do this:

Under Tools...Internet Options...

Click these three things:

Clear History
Delete Cookies
Delete Files

If you really want to get rid of everything, you might look at downloading some third party software.

Download Webroot Window Washer.

Excellent Program.

Or, Evidence Eliminator.

Enjoy!

Be carefull with WindowsWasher!

It deleted my Himem file (MAJOR SHIIT) and I had to formatt 3 times before I pin-pointed the problem.

I've got a problem and need some help. Everytime I boot up my computer it goes into this scandisk mode saying it needs to scan the "c" drive for potential problems. It tells me to skip the test just to press any key. However this doesn't work and it starts the test anyway. It starts with 3 test, zips through the first one, then gets about a third of the way through the second test and my computer crashes, reboots and then starts all over again.

Need some help guys if anyone has a clue what is happening.

Whoever tested WinWasher before release ought to be kicked in the ass.

Just say NO----there are better ways to trash your machine.
