Today's Plays:
2 units Arizona Diamondbacks ML -110---200/181.82

Russ Ortiz vs Scott Ericson. Don't believe Ericson is still in the league. Well he is and he's not pitching well. In three starts this season, he is 1-1 giving 20 hits and 13 ER in 15 innings. Last time out he didn't even make it to the fifth inning. LA is also struggling as they've lost 4 of 5. Ortiz on the other hand is pitching like an ace, throwing for 24 innings in 4 starts. In the last four he has allowed 20 hits and 10 ER. Zona is hot winning four straight and look to move to the top of the leaderboard in the NL West with a win tonight. Going back to 1997, Ortiz is 90-51 (+32.1 Units) against the money line in night games and Erickson is 31-52 (-28.1 Units) against the money line after a loss since the same time.

1 unit Seattle/Texas OVER 10.5 -120---100/83.33

11 runs are a lot to ask for but these teams can score. Seattle put up nine Sunday and Texas scored ten on the Yankees Saturday. The best thing about this is that I think we'll see runs early. Pineiro has giving 9 ER in 12 2/3 innings, 4 and 5 in his 2 starts. He's 4-3 vs Texas with an ERA of 4.11 and a WHIP of 1.140. Drese really struggles against Seattle. Drese is 2-4 when with an ERA of 8.70 and a WHIP of 2.136 in 9 starts. In his four starts this year he's let opponents earn 18 and peg him for 27 in 25 1/3 IP. His K:W ratio ain't any better, going 2:7.
