NOt sure of my lifetime total, but it is in the positive direction.

MY biggest win was $12,500 second prize in a pokerstars tournament. The entry fee was $200 though.

I won $3000 last week in a $10,000 guaranteed bodog tournament. But at partypoker, I havent had much success so I stopped playing at party poker about 6 months ago

Up about 6 grand in the last year and a half. started off at 3-6, moved on to some tourneys and now mainly play NL 100 short table cash games.

It would be alot more if i hadnt gone on tilt for about 3 straight days that cost be a couple of grand.

Same here....i won a little bit at party and then...no **** ....went 9 straight tournys without a playable hand. got ace suited once ....pr of tens a few times....and other than that ...the doughnut! streaks i understand but that was just to much....i quit em.

poker stars , americas cardroom, bowmans and SIA are the only places i still play at.....

BODOG IS AS RIGGED AS A DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY.....dont even reply to tell me im wrong.....they are crooked as the days are long...i just tonight withdrew every penny i had there and will never go back....i'd play at Black Rhino before id EVER go back to BODOG......and like 69 i won a tourny there just 2 weeks ago.....it was rigged before i won and its still rigged...

to answer your original question i lost about 4 bills at party overall

I will agree with the bodog tourney thing even though I won last week.

IT seems as though a few of the main guys have won the guaranteed tournies in the past week. The strange thing is that everyone is chatting on the final table but the eventual winner who would NEVER say a word the whole tournament

Party winnings of around 7 dimes. I rarely play the tourneys there, stick to ring games and occasional forays into the one-table stuff. Those are pure profit, I once went 15 straight in the money finishes there. I was on my way to number 16 when some guy called with 98 suited against my all-in raise holding AA. You know how that ended.

People can believe it is fixed all they want, I am not buying it. Party is the only place you need, although a few others can offer a decent game and bonus now and then.

the 2/4 and 3/6 game at Party are amazingly easy just as playing people live in vegas at the 2/4 that have no clue what an overcard is

...but I play Live poker with some very tuff poker players thats how you measure your skill against live good players

i dont think there is a trick to winning at party poker. just realize that you are probably up against more than the average amount of fish and if you are patient you can take down big pots, especially at the NL tables. i take tons of notes on the players so i know some of their tendancies.

Hey Dante!!

IMO, on line poker is WAY tougher than live action. I'm not sure if you were referring to a specific group of players being tough or not but in the games I play the live games are so much better.

It seems counterintuitive that would be the case but I guess it is far easier to be aggressive behind a computer than it is when sitting at a table and pushing chips. Live games are generally fairly passive while online aggression seems a bit more prevalent.

Pretty tough to help without additional information. I think similar approaches that get the money live get the money online.

There is no mystery to playing online except that the players are tougher and you cannot get the same types of reads you get live.

One thing that didn't dawn on me right off was trying to buy someone off a hand...i'd have say 125 the other guy has 85. we both in the pot and i "think" ive got the better..i say to myself if i bet 50.00 right now he'll fold....BUT 50 bucks is a lot of money to me...but who am i playing?? Shrink? Trump? Rob G.? 50 bucks maybe a drop in the bucket to my opponent..hell it might be worth 50 to him just to see what i have..and as the world turns it happens he has the better hand anyway and im sunk. there are so many nuances like these in the game of no-limit poker. Damn it looks so easy on t.v. but no-limit poker is a very complicated game....

Poker is the one time you MUST always bet with YOUR head and not over it
