4/27 With dog of the day

Off to sleep but wanted to post some of my picks for later today. Those who know me, know that I usually stay away from dogs. However there is an exception to every rule and that day is today.

YTD Record: 24-18

Listed pitchers must start. All selections for the same amount unless stated otherwise.

San fran -106
Mets -115

The dog of the day.....
Milwaukee + 170

Santos is 1-0 thus far with an era of, 1.64.

Against the Cards his career era is 1.88 and he is 1-1

Away this year he is 1-0 with an era of 1.93

Compare him to Carpenter and I see a huge value in this play. While the Brewers are not an offensive power house I see them keeping this tight and squeeking through a win.

2 friendly suggestions:

1) In MLB since it is not a standard -110 vig, there is no sense posting a record unless it is accompanied by a +/- units. As you know you could have a losing record in MLB but be up units.

2) You should look for a few more outs..... Mansion & Pinnacle have +185 on Milwakee & Many Many books have -110 on the Mets.... The Vig can eat you alive.....

thanks for the tip on Milwakee, I may very well play them for an afternoon upset.... maybe -1.5 +288?

I dont post units because I mainly bet favs -105 to -150, and all selections are usually for the same amount.

If I have a losing record I will be down units.

Otherwise I see your point, just too troublesome to keep track. The record is just an indicator on how well I am doing. I don't post it to brag or anything like that.
