1. Quickly think about how much of a boatload of money I have made from gambling for the day, month, year, or in my career and understand that one cannot win every day..........let alone every hour.

2. Take a few hours off and go for a walk, have a beer, take a swim, watch TV, or do some similar activity to focus my mind someplace else which allows me to come back with a clear head and plan my attack so as to elevate myself to a new career high in gambling winnings.

poker wise....if it really affects u and ur aces get cracked go outside and dont come back to the table for 5-10 minutes at the least....what happens is that u usually get a good hand right after that and then it's history

I go through and update my records by sport on a weekly basis every Monday morning. It helps prevent this type of thing and I have until Sunday to get it all back so I can be patient. Usually not down going into Sunday thankfully but I may have chased a little on Sunday a time or two but very rarely.
