Anyone ever read the book?
A book that originally introduced the potent handicapping concepts of TRACK BIAS, KEY RACES and TRAINER PATTERNS. The book was extensively revised, expanded and updated a few years ago to adapt to the modern game.
Mr. Davidowitz is the former editor of the prestigious American Racing Manual and is a featured racing columnist and contributor to many American newspapers and magazines. Davidowitz has been a successful bettor for three decades specializing in 2-year-old maiden and allowance races, turf races, the Triple Crown chase and races leading up to and including the Breeders' Cup.
Speed Figure Guru Andy Beyer credits Davidowitz with having been 'his mentor' and teaching him "how to play the game successfully".
An active voice for reform on behalf of horseplayers, Davidowitz' columns and articles have appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer, St. Petersburg Times, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Baltimore Sun, Oakland Tribune, The New York Times, Sport Magazine, TV Guide and Daily Racing Form. He currently lives in New York and actively plays in every major racing market in America, especially the New York, Southern California and Kentucky tracks.
