You said you owned a lawn service in tampa. I burned a bunch of my gras in some spots with that weed and feed stuff. Could you reccomend a good seed that i could get a the local store. I allways bought the cheap stuff but some of the neighbors lawns look really nice and wanted a nice looking lawn. Just have a few bare batches no need to resod.
Bahia usually starts to die out in about 7 years or so. You may want to just wait until that occurs before you upgrade.
As far as what seed you want, I would guess you have argentine,somake sure you go with that. Make sure the seed you get is "penkoted seed" which means it is treated with a insectiside and a groeth stimulate. Also get a good starter fertilizer and just water, water , water all summer long.
