This matchup gave me a loser last night although it looked really well early on. Both pitchers can pitch and I don't feel like YTD ERA is anywhere close to their real potential. Penny's first start of the season came against these very same Rockies, at Coors field, and he wasn't bad at all under those circumstances. Ih his career he's been pitching very well against Colorado, when playing at home (first Florida, now LA, both pitcher friendly ballparks), and Kennedy was extremely good against LA in his three previous career starts, including two starts at Coors field. Kennedy is much better playing on the road since he joined the Rockies, just like any other Colorado pitcher. Jeff Nelson has been an 'under' ump last two seasons(43-26, 62,4%), and that's especially true for NL games. This game should be a nice pitching duel between two very underrated pitchers.
