Even with those starters you would still need a (at least) mediocre bullpen.
Dump DTrain for A.J. Burnett, Hudson for Josh Beckett, and Oswalt for Mark Buehrle.

Wonder if those bench guys would sign on knowing they wouldnt play everyday. Even though they would be getting 15 mil and pretty much a guaranteed ring.

everybody would get plenty of time..

i would need to build a stadium that would hold 70,000 . some sweet luxury boxes and a massive cable deal.

maybe even try and sell a package nationwide to fans who want to watch this team..

might need a few extra arms..

all i need now is to buy a team in a decent market. maybe the dodgers ..

agreed...probably would go for Matheny over LoDuca....and cant pass up Roberts start this year at 2B

i'm a big matheny fan.. but the guy cant hit..

roberts needs to do it for a few more years before i take him over vidro.. look at vidro's stats . unknown and underrated..

I said lose money, not games. Luxury tax would be enormous. No one could afford tickets. How much is a beer ( $18 ?) Where do they play (NY) ? It's like taking NYY one step furthur.Attendance would suffer.

I can't see the team making money, overall. Such a team would be a huge favorite to win it all, of course. It wouldn't be good for the game. The team they wind-up playing( in WS) would still have some chance of winning.
