I've got the under in the Mets game. It's middle of the 8th, they're one run under the total. The game is being delayed due to rain. If they call the game, do I win the bet or is it a push?

Thanks,

From the open ticket on the internet:

<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD>Game must go 9 innings (8.5 if home team is ahead) or this pick is NO ACTION.

Victor Zambrano (R) must throw first pitch for New York Mets or this pick is NO ACTION

Tomo Ohka (R) must throw first pitch for Washington Nationals or this pick is NO ACTION.

Did these pitchers not throw the first pitches?

Zambrano went.
Ohka went.
Game was called before the 9th though.
You can thank the grounds crew for that, they were worse than incompetent. In pouring rain, it took then about 45 minutes to put the tarp over the infield. Hilarious if you were watching.

Yes. The grounds crew should credit for the W. They took their time getting that tarp out in pouring rain. About the time they finally had it laid out, the rain stopped. Then they called the game, with the home team ahead by 2 runs.

My gut feeling is that the bottom of the 8th and top of 9th would have gone scoreless and I'd have won the under. Oh well. Sometimes schit happens. I suppose this is payback for my totals play on Wisconsin-UNLV when the lights went out and I pushed on a bet I should have lost.
