The league officiating is a joke, Van Gundy only said the truth...

The little jerk Commisioner Stern, what is he talking about here...he acts like Van Gundy could be kicked out of the league ....

NBA refs are gamblers controlling totals nightly, Stern doesn't want to admit he has 'dirty refs'... :icon_conf

Remember these are the same referee's who SOLD their first class plane tickets so they could profit by flying coach :finger:

Refs maybe incompetent but I doubt they are on the take. I don't think he had much choice but to put the hammer down on VG, you can't allow someone to spew that type of stuff at the League office. Silence would have condoned it, and with all the meatheads in the NBA, you can't open that door even a crack.

i thought stern was a complete ahole when he suspended the pacers players and i think he is equally retarded with van gundy who is a notorious good guy.

stern is out of control and the owners in the league are afraid to lose him. But i dont see the value of stern anymore. He is credited with turning this league around, but in reality it was players like bird, magic and jordan that saved this league. Stern did a great job, but not nearly as good as he thinks.

Isn't it comical to compare the power of the two commisioners Stern and that buffoon Selig?

Both Major Sports Leagues and you have David Stern who seems to have about as much power in sports as any single man, and then on the filp side Bud Selig would have a hard time selling used cars to people with poor credit...very out of balance!

Stern is living off what he did 15 years ago. The game today has deteriorated into a joke and he is responsible for much of it.

It may have been Journey. We will never know.

The interesting thing to me is that the journalists paint Stern as the hero, but the gamblers here at the RX paint Stern as the zero.

i bet he ends up saying that it was fabricated to avoid more trouble with adolph stern, but we will never know if sure if it was fabricated, but van gundy doesnt come off as the fabricating type

He's between a rock and a hard place and Stern doesn't appear to be letting it fade away....I can't see Van Gundy saying it was fabricated then he will look like a clown...plus like you say PT he doesn't seem the type.
