Ok fellas i just heard about this from my friend a while ago. This program is very popular and i wouldin't be suprised if some of you are already using it. It's just like a messaging program like AIM which has a buddy list. Through this program you can call me on thier computers or phones. The signal is better than a cell phone better than home phone. You can call people in Europe Asia anywhere and talk to them for free. It's great if you work at a computer all the time. So all you need is a microphone or a headset and your set. Think about calling some of the forum guys to talk about a game for a minute. You can even pay 30Euros for 8 months i think to have your own phone number and your own voicemail. The possibilities are endless. Anything that is connected to the net can use skype.
If anyone is using it i would want to get some feedback. All i heard were positives and i think we should try it.

It's been a while since I looked into these voIP services. At the time I came to the conclusion that Vonage has the best service. Every one that I know using Vonage loves it. With Vonage you can even use a PDA as a cell phone. So you could be walking around CR calling the US from your PDA at 0 cents per minute. Plus you can get any area code you want. $5 more per month for additional area codes. Unlimited calls to any where in the US costs $25 per month.

Sound quality is better than the sat connections all the books are using. Also, no computer needed. Just a broad band connection. The equipment is provided for free when you sign up.

I have a vonage phone and agree with you SVT .. it is great ... but I also have used Skype to talk with people overseas FOR FREE and that was so friggin cool. I think skype may just be the future.
