I guess you could say they are using the word "player" in it's broadest sense. Torre, Stottemyre and Mattingly coaches and Cashman an executive could be referred to as persons I suppose instead of players. Hair splitting imo.

I think it's worth a couple of bucks on

<TABLE id=tblPropFut onmouseover="changeto(event, '#F6C88F')" onmouseout="changeback(event, '#EEEEEE')" cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=0 width="100%" bgColor=#ffffff border=0><TBODY><TR class=hiliteRow bgColor=#eeeeee><TD width="15%"></TD><TD class=main_body_blk width=auto>108 All will be with Yankees on 10/1/2005</TD><TD class=main_body_blk width="25%">+201</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I would say if one of them died that they left the Yankees and would be the winner of the prop ( provided they died before someone else left the organization).

Maybe so Wil, but why leave any doubt ? Someone could bet on Brown getting the boot first, then Torre gets fired. A claim could be made Torre isn't a Yankee player. If I were Pinnacle I'd clean up the wording. Why leave a loophole ? The meaning is clear enough to me, but why be sloppy ? Nothing good can result from it !

Leave also isn't clear either as another poster pointed out.

I figured they would re-word this one eventually, but I didn't alert them. No excuse for sloppy written props from a top book

It's better worded now, for sure ! If Cashman commited suicide, I guess he wins for betting purposes.

There's still some holes, but smaller ones.

What if George hired a hitman, and Cashman went missing around June 1st or so. I guess he's still a Yankee ! Did he "leave" the Yankees ? I admit that's a stretch !

What if Cashman's body is never found ? I guess he remains a Yankee !

I like Torre to be first gone at current +714 or so. George likes to fire managers, he's certainly done so in past, hasn't done so recently, can't fire players. Great value, IMO, but I haven't bet it ! Torre could be gone by Tuesday !

The more I think about Torre +714, the more I like it ! I can't bet it as I've got my Pinny balance already bet, and I await Neteler.

Steinbrenner is on tilt now, shaking up the team ! Firing Torre is next ! Extreme value on Torre +714, IMO. He's prime to go. George has ,,penchant for firiig managers, extreme good long-shot which may pay very early ! Especially if his horse loses. George is pissed, will make more rash decisions.

Bet Torre +714, George way overdue to fire a manager. He's in change mode, trying everything, manager next, great value ! It's like a 3-teamer but you only need one thing to happen.

I won't call a 7:1 shot a lock, but I'll call value.
