i remember that. hilarious. then later on in the season, kent mercker calls the booth during a game to complain that the cubs announcers are giving roy oswalt too much credit. kent, why are you watching the game on tv? aren't you supposed to be charting pitches or studying scouting reports or warming up or at least telling latoya that he can get these guys out...don't worry. no, he watches the broadcast on tv....then he has the balls/stupidity to call the booth and tell steve stone what he should and should not say.
that is the alltime funniest thing i can remember from a cubs season. except of course for moises alou screaming at a dorky cub fan for costing the cubs a world series.
