Who would have thought the Yanks would be this bad? It seems so hard backing them anymore. They are a better team then Tampa, however according to the standings they're just one game better and they lost 3 times already to the Rays. -170 on the road is scarey. Who would have thought backing the Yanks in a D-Ray series would be this thought worthy?

the books keep jacking the yankees lines way up there knowing yankee backers refuse to believe the team is that bad. espn is pimping them saying they will make the playoffs. age obviously caught up.some players are declining in talent now. a-rod and jeter cant do it all. shef too.the pitching staff has become pathetic. i will bet against them at -180 or less.

i think people are under the assumption they will turn it around soon so they bet accordingly. although i agree with what RG said - NO WAY i play them until shown a reason to do so - and even then - NO WAY i lay any kind of wood with them

Kind of the scary feeling you get when you dive head first into a pool and realize as you hit the water, you're at the shallow end.

Roxy, that is the smartest thing I have ever heard you say at this forum. Everything you said is 100% true. You figured it out. Let the idiots keep thinking that they will turn it around.

Inflate them lines!!!!!!!

The 2005 Yankees remind me of the 2003-2004 Lakers in the NBA. That team farted around the entire season and still made the finals, losing to Detroit. The Yanks are awful right now, but Baltimore is faltering and NY is only 5.5 behind Boston. Now if Schilling gets back on track, the Yanks may not catch them, but the wildcard is just as good and Minnesota is crapping out about now.

GL today!

SP I think they will be there in the end it is not over, 5 out in june plenty of time .If I was backing minny I might be worried, I have seen the yanks make late charges before. The pitching staff is bad and they have only themselfs to blame with all the tinkering with over the last couple of years .The yanks have had a couple of 8-10 game winning streaks and then everybody comes out of the wood works and says the yanks this and that and when they lose a few there the biggest bums in the world, give me a break there not worried about gamblers there trying to win games, lets be consistant with them fellas they will be there in the end .I like the way boston has improve their staff even after losing pedro, steinbrenner could take a lesson from that, don't panic, its not over til the fat lady sings and shes having dinner with me tonight lol .
