THIS JUST SHOWS WHAT AN IDIOT CASHMAN IS. TRADES AWAY CONTRERAS A GUY THE YANKEES SPENT MILLIONS ON GETTING HERE AND DEVELOPING. GETS LOAIZA, AND LOAIZA IS GONE NOW. THEY PAY LIEBER TO REHAB, HE GETS IN SHAPE TO PITCH AND IS GONE. THEY LET EL DUQUE GO WHO THEY ALSO SPENT MILLIONS TO GET. THEY THEN PAY 9 million dollars in cash and give away vasquez a decent pitcher to aquire the unit. This is just the tip of it, not inluding Clemens leaving, signing kevin Brown or wright no time would take days to research this assclowns moves.

Not a bad list, but I will take Santana over all of them.

THE white sox have has the lead in every game, i'd consider betting them on the 5 inn line and the game line, I think only 3 times would you have lost them both.
Instead of 100 bet 25 and 75, just a scattered theory. But if they were winning after 5 and lost the game you'd only lose 50 if betting 100 dollars units not accounting for juice. If they win and win 5 inns you get the unit yeah.

Well i mean the end of the road for them could be any of their next starts, at this age. Just like Nolan Ryan, blew the tendon in his arm, walked off the mound and never pitched again.

George is the GM of the yankees. of all the old pitchers, El Duque is the only one of them that is a "true Yankee". they should've kept him. and he didn't break the bank.

can anyone name some great pitchers this rather historic team has had over the years? They haven't had many..amazing as long as they've been around.

Here is the Cy Young stats for the great Jon Garland going into this year: http://www.baseball-reference.com/g/garlajo01.shtml

</PRE>I realize the Cubs only got Matt Karchner for him but the Sox got 5 years of this hoping for this year.

Cubs also had Willis imagine willis zambrano prior wood and garland

garland would barely make the rotation.

Did they move the fences back in the offseason? Because their field has been one of the best hitters parks in the majors the last three years which makes the rotation's performance even more impressive if no changes occured. Of course they could falter but the most likely thing that would happen to that rotation is El Duque getting hurt again.

The biggest reason it was looked at as a great hitters yard was simply all the power they had the last couple years that they no longer do.

Also, mark my words, if they don't add some help to the pen, it is a matter of time before they start melting down. Not a good pen.

Not a good pen.

They have 3 guys that can come in and close a game, I feel their pen is a strength. I can't name a better one. These guys are blowing games and causing games to go over left and right, not.

Definitely not St. Louis, Braves, Red Sox, or Cubs<!-- / message -->
