that was on the turn doberman, when he had the gutshot and flush draw....i still wouldve mucked tho after only investing $40 into the pot.

he checks after the flop, then after the turn, with a royal flush possible, he raises?

makes no sense to me.

This is an awful beat no doubt, but the player got to see some cards for cheap. Tough loss.

What are you talking about man??? why wouldnt he think that he was good in that spot? If you cant get your money in with that hand.....when he couldve easily had just a flush......then again these guys play like 5-6 hours a day together so they know each other well I guess. If you have a guy drawing to a one outer there is not much else you can hope for.

I listed this only so people stop complaining about regular beats and claiming them as bad beats

A buddy of mine won the BB jackpot at Palace Station with almost exact same hand. He had forgot about the Jackpot and was about ready to come across the table at the guy who cheered loudly when my friend turned his Aces over. When everyone started congratulating him he realised he won about 4 dimes in the Jckpot.
