The yankees got off to a horrid start this year. . But I am going to bring this thread back up in about 2 weeks because starting tomorrow this team is going to go on a tear. They will do something like win 8 of thier next 10 games!!
On with the plays. . . .
(4) Units Cards/Dodger Over 8.5 -111 $444 to win $400
(3) Units NYY -1.5 -130 $390 to win $300
(1) Unit Braves -163 $163 to win $100
(1) Unit Braves -1.5 -115 $115 to win $100
Cards/Dodgers over - Perez has a 9.64 era in 4 reg. season starts against the Cardinals. Mulder has been pitching well lately, but he is facing one of the leagues top offenses so you can expect 2-4 runs from the Dodgers tonight. The cardinals will take care of the rest as they have been hitting the cover off of the ball late and I really don't see any reason that they can't score 6 runs or more off of the Dodgers. They may get 3-4 off of perez, but if and when they get into the Dodger bullpen which IMO is thier weak spot in the team they should be able to put together some runs. Now to the other side. . The Dodgers have been scoring runs consistently all season long and they have especially been giving Odalis Perez good run support hitting at a 6+ run clip for him. Even if they dont get to Mulder they should get a few cracks at the Cards bullpen and we all know what kind of Nightmare that can be! This game goes over easily!
Braves - Simple as this. . The Braves are one of the hottest hitting teams in baseball right now and they are going into Colorado to play in the thin air where the balls will be flying out of the park. They are also playing one of the worst teams in baseball and I see no reason why Tim hudson only has a
-163 pricetag on him tonight. There is too much value to pass that number up and if I didnt already have 7 units out I would have made this a stronger play.
