Question: Total Handle

Since it has been determined that playing with an agent is virtually playing offshore...

My Question is, How would you break down the percentages of total sports betting in the US when it comes to OFFSHORE vs. LOCALS vs. LAS VEGAS.

Example:

30% local
20% LV
50% Offshore

and how would you compare this to 4 years ago?

20% in LV, are you kidding? I would say LV consists at best 5% of total, might even be less. At best I don't think LV ever consisted of more than 10% of total and clearly is declining as limits and regulations are chasing bigger money out of LV.

WB- I was just trying to use an example so that people would understand what I was looking for.

In you opinion how would it break down?

I would be the last one who would be looking to help out the feds, believe me. I was reading through RPM's thread earlier about the Internets effect on the hold percentage and I saw how people were talking about Locals and Offshore and it just got me wondering.

Also, I dont think the Feds need much help from me anyways as they are doing quite well on their own.

the feds already know the "breakdown" ............lol

my guess is

75% local
15% offshore
10% vegas

ask any local how much offshore books have affected their business.......90 percent will say it hasnt affected it at all...........so it goes to reason they still have the most business
