Baseball totals: how much is a half run worth?

Sometimes the over/under line differs by a half run between books. In this case I have to decide which line to take. How much is the half run worth? Thank you for the replies. I am relatively new to totals betting in bases.

I'm sure that each number has it's own significance; I believe
that 9 is the most frequently hit total (much as "3" in NFL)
and undoubtedly carries a large premium to buy on or off.

Also (my own speculation) it seems that even numbers are
more likely NOT to be hit because ties are resolved; in
other words, 4-4 is not the final score, so it seems to me that
it is less profitable to buy on or off 6, 8, 10 (?) :103631605

bases is an ENTIRELY dif Demon than any other sport,,,its ALLLLLLLLLLL about the VIG and the number,,,, you GOTTA have 3-5 OUts,,,, to get the BEST Value Possible,,,,, Even if that means you can ONLY put 200.00 at each book

200 x 4 books= 800.00(this would mean you would only be able to make 5-10 dollar bets,,,,, but its the Smartest and BEST winning proposition

I dont know your BR, but you need to ALWAYS look for best VIG and best Number,,,
