The General said:How much free time you get?
wantitall4moi said:Not scores KISS, maybe 8-12 times. I am sure anyone that plays poker a bit in Call has sat in with him a few times as well. He was playing around here for months, doing about every tourny they had going. Probably getting staked by that pokersite he is on. Quite honestly I don't even consider playing against him any big deal. Actually playing against anyone that has some sort of "reputation" shouldn't hold any qualms to anyone that plays poker. If you have the best hand you win. A guy being some sort of pro isn't going to change that. It is also hard to get outplayed when you have the best hand, which is what I generally like to have anyways when I do play a pot. I might play 4-5 hands in 2-3 hours (discounting blinds) And generally when I play past tyhe flop I win, plain and simple. I don't bluff, and I try not to make bad calls. And even playing with people that know that usually get paid off by someone. Just as with sports gambling, I am not doing it to get rich. I do it to pass the time and have fun. And maybe make a little money.
As for the horse ticket, 100% truth. I have never been the type to come on here or any forum and initate a claim of hitting a nice ticket or bragging about winning a game or a series. So why would I make up something like that now? I just thought it was in line with the horse talk, and with Shrink having to make a bet for a guy and whether or not to hold it or bet it. Of course I felt pretty good about getting the hit, but it was a total fluke, certainly no ability went into it, but the INability to write down the correct number on a slip of paper. Besides my story certainly makes more sense than the guy who "lost" the superfecta ticket, and had it miraculously found by a teller near a machine a day and a half later.
I don't have to make up stories on a forum to make myself feel better. If I did I would be on here everyday with a new rant. I haven't posted on here in weeks. So all of a sudden I have to come in here and make upa bunch of stories to gain "respect"? I think offerinf advice that is USEABLE to people gains more respect than talking about how much I bet, win, lose, or whom I might happen to have played cards with. When you live in Southern Cal you run into a lot of people, many of them at tthe poker rooms these days.
If I was really dropping names I could start a list of whos who in Hollywood whom I have sat with at The Bike or at Commerce, but that isn't my style. I just simply relay stories about guys whom people are talking about at the time. My own personal observations, nothingmore, nothing less. Again, anyone that plays cards in California has more than likely played with a lot of the guys people see on TV.

Both on top of the game.

wantitall4moi said:Don't know don't go down there anymore. I imagine they probably still do. Why play there when there is a pokerroom in every book nowadays?
As for the length of my posts. Most guys can read more than a few words a minute. If you do read that slow then I guess I could type a little slower for you :howdy: .
As it is I can probably type these posts faster than you read them.:digit:
I also liked the "mumbo jumbo" comment earlier. I have been saying the same thing for almost fives years, and it hasn't changed yet, and is still working as far as I know. As someone who seemingly monitors all my posts you know this better than anyone. Which raises the question... if I am so boring and long winded, then why do you still read the posts?
In any case some guys I think get a little something out of it, and more often than not there is generally a good dialogue going when I do get on a roll, and other guys are offering input as well. It gives differing sides to the debate and people can take both sides and do with it what they want.
Certainly more vauable than someone coming on, posting something, and having 20 guys totally agree with it, even if it is wrong.
NIce trust fund blast BTW, the thing is, I still have it and then some. I would bet what I have left and made, that if guys got what I did when I got it, and gambled, they would have been broke a decade ago. There is nothing wrong with getting money, as long as you know how to handle it. And don't simply piss it all away. That is evidenced every time someone gets a big score. They finally get what they want, but ultimately it is all gambled away almost as quick as it was won.
