That error by A Rod opened the floodgates in the top of the 1st. Pavano gets out of that inning unscaved if not for that. Not to say Sexson and Boone don't go deep on him the next inning.

Pavano doesn't seem as good pitching out of the stretch.

Glad I am still alive with the Yanks -1.5. Funny thing is I was debating what to play, either Yanks -1.5 or the over. I knew the Yanks would get to Moyer, just thought maby Pavano would shut down the M's. Looks like I made the wrong decision. At least there is still hope.

i know it's easy to Monday morning QB now, but I also thought about the OVER. Didn't trust Sea with RISP.

2nd and 3rd 1 out..Pavano gets to pitch out of the windup again, promptly K's Sexson and gets Ibanez to end the threat

Errors killed both pitchers
It really is a diff ballgame if they make those double plays

Changes the pitchers whole mindset

Brian Cashman has to be the worst GM of all time. Look at the mistakes.

Giambi
Wright
Pavono
Karsay
Vasquaz
Cris Hammond
Irabu

Im sure im leaving out plenty of names.

I think Pavano will straighten himself out eventually. As far as some of the other names like J.Giambi, Irabu or J.Contreras, I would probably blame Steinbrenner more than Cashman. Big Stein hates losing any players to the BoSox

yep, in the case of the Japanese and Cuban players, that's Steinbrenner. Always wants the big new import
