Mo Vaughn was acquired in a trade for Kevin Appier....unfortunately. I'll give you another crappy Met FA signing though: Bobby Bonilla

Chan Ho Park might deserve to be in the top 10

Good ones so far. 3 more I thought of.

Manny Ramirez from the Tribe to the BoSox was a pretty decent acquisition. Only resulted in him eventually powering them to their 1st WS in nearly a century.
Ken Griffey Jr to the Reds has been one of the worst ever.

Roger Clemens to the Yankees and everywhere else for that matter was a solid acquisiton for whatever team Blue Jays, Astros whatever.

Darren Dreifort to the Dodgers for 5 yrs. - $55 Million. He has pitched about three games since then. He was their own free agent, but still. What a joke.

Also for the Dodgers, Kevin Brown for 7yrs - $105 Million at age 34.

Mo Vaughn may have been acquired in trade by the Mets but he was signed as a free agent by the Angels and was a disaster. Mo Vaughn easily!!

At this point I would put Kolb in that category. Man, he is killing me. Other pitchers have saved his ass in several other games.

Red Sox in the 80's signed every over the hill player and the worst of that group Matt Young for big money at the time, lost 19 the year before with Seattle, couldn't throw to first and threw a no-no against the Chisox only to lose the game because of bases on balls.

Let's not forget about Mike Hampton(colorado). He was great before he went there and has been very good since leaving there. Rockies couldn't wait to get him out of town.

Bobby BOO-nilla being signed by the Mets after the '91 season is unforgettable. I think they're still paying deferred compensation to that bum. However, back then Bonilla looked just as powerful as the other 1/2 of the "Original" Killer-B's (Bonds/Bonilla)
