STL/NY Mets OVER 9 (+100) (3 units)...gotta ride the OVER with the Glavine/STL Bullpen storylines playing out. Marquis has also been subpar recently, aside from shutting down Cincy two starts back. The Mets will need to get the bats going though (they did face Prior and Maddux back to back). STL smacking the ball, even though they aren't at full strenth. Izzy is back today. May be rusty in a save situation.
Tor/Clev OVER 9 1/2 (-103) (3 units)..these teams have historically played UNDER, but throw Lilly and Westbrook (2 pitchers who have been utter gascan's lately), plus both teams come in hitting the ball pretty well, and I believe we got ourselves an OVER. Toronto is a moneyball "take the walk, get some baserunners, get the big hit" team, and Lilly has been getting everything up, and the weather should be pretty warm and the ball should carry tonight.
Chicago Cubs +130 (2 units)...Rusch has been a decent fill in/spot starter for the Cubs, he may ne getting Wash at the right time, whose bats cooled off in Arizona. Cubs aren't exactly lighting it up either, but they've won a couple games in a row, and hope to build on that here. Also, quite a few Cubbie hitters have historically done well vs. Loazia. Loazia's 20 game winning yr was a fluke, imo, as was his terrible yr. last season. The truth lies somewhere in between. Like getting Cubs at +130
Detroit +101 (1 unit)...small play for me. More interested in watching this rematch of a 2-1 Detroit win last week (Colon vs. Bonderman). Going with Det because they are hitting the ball a lot better than LAA and just came off a very successful roadtrip, taking 2 out of 3 from both Tex and these Angels. Also, because Bonderman is becoming one of my favorite pitchers
