Friday the 13th DOGS + 1 Value Pick

1-1 Yesterday on DOGS for a small profit. And that's all my goal is with these puppies. Looking for the split. Friday the 13th, strange things can happen. Large card and a lot of dogs look like they will come through today. I also think 1 favorite has some good value in it.

Marlins (Beckett) -126
Beckett starts for the Marlins out in San Diego and he's last few starts havn't been razor sharp. Marlins have the better lineup and the better starter going in this game. Beckett is due for a solid outing and the Padres offense can be non-existent at times at home. Padres do have a solid starter on the bump with Eaton. Marlins could still have Luis Castillo and Miguel Cabrera hampered by injuries, but Cabrera should start. You would think the Marlins are playing the Yankees or something with the line being -126 with Beckett on the mound. Marlins have the better chance of outscoring the Padres. So, I'll definitely take my chances on the -126.

Strong Lean Marlins/Padres UN 7
Padres stadium has been a haven for unders this year and with Beckett and Eaton on the mound this should be no different. 3-2 final seems likely. Still not a play as I am checking the injury reports.

Yes, sir.

I think I've found a style I like for betting baseball and I have been betting 1 unit for awhile now until I get a little bit more comfortable with my selections. Confidence is gaining day by day in my picks. I figure to be bumping all plays to 2 units within the week. Whatever units I decide, all of my underdogs will be the same unit so that if I go .500 - I make a profit. Any Totals or value favorites I play are also 1 unit unless specified otherwise.

How do you feel about this money management system? I'd really like your thoughts, as well as anyone else who might see a flaw. Thanks in advance.

Um, yeah. Whenever I think a favorite has some decent value, I receive anal. My leans are always correct, and never played, of course. I, of course, lost the Marlins game. Only 1 unit no big deal. But I called the final score on the dot once again. And, of course, didn't play the under.

0-1 on the value favorite.
But will most likely go 4-2 on DOGS for another day on the + side.
