detroit fan here, I know when to go against my team..and today is the day.. bondermans is spuratic at best and the angels just saw him last week.. no percival which weakens an already iffy bullpen this is a 6 inning game if the angels have the lead...their bullpen is lights out.

angels -106

I already made my pick before I saw your post but I am all over the angels

DETROIT is 13-15 against right-handed starters this season. (92-148 over the last 3 seasons.)

DETROIT is 9-12 when playing against a team with a winning record this season. (65-124 over the last 3 seasons.)

I'm on the under following the system I found in this forum from Northern Star...rain delays scare me when betting totals. This makes me twice as concerned because it is a scheduled double header. Bullpens will play a big role today and starters are thrown out of rhythm if there is another delay after the game starts.

Noreaga...as a Detroit fan, what do you think of Logan? I think he will be an incredible leadoff man for them next year and wouldn't be surprised to see him take over that role at some point this season. I think he will steal 50 bases next season.

A lot of factors would go into playing that prop for me....starting pitcher (how he normally does early...you could make a killing going against Glavine in inning 1 over his career), team's top 4 in the batting order, etc...

Where do you play? I have found prop bets like this to have very little value due to the juice that is usually tied in. It is not uncommon to see .30/.40 cent lines. Very little value to me, but I don't put in the time to handicap the 1st innings. Could be profitable I would guess.

Congrats on the winners!

I like logan, but I think he is the odd man out if Ordonez ever comes back...

as far as the yes/no props in 1st innings... I used to bet these a lot a few years ago and I always bet the " No " I dont make those wagers anymore... was getting drilled on em.. 1st innings are a crapshoot... even with 2 stud pitchers...
