Live Poker Games

I have only been playin Hold 'Em for about a year now, but always at non casino live games or on line. I've been to the casino in the past year but never ventured into the poker room, mainly cause i got to mohegan but finally went to the foxwoods poker room last friday night.....

i can't take it! i played for very small amounts just to test the waters but what i couldn't take is all the "pros" at the table......i mean most of them have NOT been playing for 20 years like they would have you think, but rather a year or 2 like me.....almost everyone acts like they are god's gift to poker, which i find to be a joke.....a couple of guys are sitting there talking about this poker guy lives such and such place, this one had such and such for breakfast etc, i mean real stupid chit, like talkiing about your favorite athlete or something....

tuff to take.....anyone feel me on this?

man i went downtown the other afternoon got their a lil early so i went on the boat to play a few hands....MY GOD! Ithought i was at a physical therapy clinic! every s.o.b. on the boat was in a wheelchair, crutches or i kid u not walkin around with an oxygen tank!! one woman at my table must have been 80+...she looked comatose. i never seen such a beat down bunch in my life..know poker??? one lady lost a hand and it took 10 mins to explain to her she had the low kicker.it took like 5 mins to figure out everyone at the table...10 or better? call pocket anythings? raise....F___ the flop and keep raising...lol i played about 20 mins caught 4 -3's and damn near cleaned out the whole table...you would have thought i was doyle brunson...one woman (young thing about 65) laid down her cards and came over and started giving me a back massage....lol a couple of guys who looked liked they'd been feeding on these fish before i got there got up and left like they'd been suckerd by a pro....weirdest damn hour of my poker life for sure...AND i still havent gotten the smell off me yet...just like the O.T.B. smelled like an armpit...i dont know how any one could stand it much more than hour...not to mention i knew i was walking out of there with a couple of peoples SSI and disability cks in my pocket....cold day in hell is all i can say! ill stick to poker stars...lol

well since you ask, im a PPP only in the sense that i play for money. im certainly not making a living off of it so far...as far as the tagline goes well thats a different story. its actually a the title of a song by the fellow pictured below it but it does fit me perfectly. lookup degenerate internet gambler in the dictionary you should find my picture! no friends, no loves, no life for that matter! to quote another classic line...its my life to ruin my own way.....:digit:
