Monster Day last night, and now I have to hide from the Law of Percentages.
6-1-1 on yesterday's card for +9.26 units. I am not fond of Sunday's Card at all. Too many chalky games, no big faves, not much value. Definitely not going to give it all back and force anything.

(2 units) Marlins -125 (Burnett)
Marlins will call upon the nastiest pitcher on their staff to avoid the sweep. I'm sticking with the hot hand, Burnett's last outing was a classic pitcher's duel with Clemens. His confidence is high, and his offense will give him just enough run support.

(1 unit) 2 Team Parlay +150
Braves (Hudson)
Yankees (Johnson)

CharliePeete-

No opinion on the Detroit game. I don't like the lines, there isn't much value in either direction in my opinion. Somebody else on the site might be able to point you in a direction if you must have action on the game? Best of luck.

Marlins need the pen to step up. They've been solid all year, don't fail me now. Burnett pitched a great game got in trouble in the 7th and walked a run in with them loaded. Loaded still 4-2 score and 0 outs, Perisho in.

Yeah. No Mona right now. Pretty frustrated because I went from a potential sweep of a card I didn't even like to hopefully losing a half unit. Tough to handicap for a 10- run 7th. :ughhh:

Florida was up 4-1 in the 7th, Burnett pitched as expected, but tough to cap for those fluke 10 run innings. LOL.
Got the parlay to hit, so 1-1 for a -.5 unit.

Sunday Night Baseball is always a great event for the sport, and I like 1 play in tonight's game to finish off the day on the (+) side of things.

(3 units) Giants @ Astros OV 9 -105

1) Sunday Night Baseball games have been no-contest this year thus far. Nationally televised game and ESPN and the hitter's will want to put on a display for a national audience that loves scoring.
2) Minute Maid is regarded as a hitter's park.
3) Umpire Bill Welke behind the plate. 5 Overs/4 Unders this year. Average of 10+ runs per game umpired.
4) 2 Suspect Starters in tonights' game. Jeff Fassero is over 40 years old and made his 1st start of the season last game. He's been used out of the pen mostly this year. Can't see him mowing through the Astros lineup and extending into the later innings which means bullpen usage. Brandon Backe is sporting a 6+ ERA this year, although he's a different pitcher at home.
5) Bullpens havn't exactly been lighting it up this year and Houston's pen in particular has blown a few leads this year. With a Fassero and Backe on the mound, bullpens will be used.

Best of luck, whatever you decide.
