.500 record getting closer, still allowing runs, but the offense has awoken, with or without Giambi....Tino has picked it up nicely.

I'd LOVE to think so. However they have been playing some pretty weak teams the last two weeks.

Time will tell.

I knew sooner or later they would string some wins together, becuase they have to much offensive talent not to do so.With that being said you don't play teams like Oakland and Seattle in the playoffs. Their pitching still isn't championship material " relief and starting ". I'm also not convinced Pavano is someone they can count on in the big games. That was a horrific peformance against Seattle this week. My opinion hasn't changed, this team will not win the WS this year

The Yankees win streak coincides with them playing in order...

Oakland home/Seattle home/Oakland road with this schedule I would hardly say that the Yankees are back....

The Yankees will struggle against the AL East all year and not go more than .500 against them...
