Well reached 10 winning days i a row yesterday with another smallish win day of 4-2, +2.44 units, but we are still climbing, and are at a new season high of +77.00 units, and 33 games over .500.....See alot of matchups i like today, unlike yesterday, so the 11th winning day in a row will hopefully be a BIG one...

Hey BF,

Are you aware that Pujols will not be playing today? I didn't know if that would affect your plays in anyway at all. Thanks!

Thanks MrReb, but i did see that earlier, and while i definitely would prefer him IN the lineup, i still think they win the game....I think Morris pitches well against this team, and dont care for Heilman too much......i have noticed sometimes, when a team rests the "main" guy, it has just the opposite effect that you think it would, they come out and score alot that day....I may be wrong, and if i had my choice, he would play (seems odd after playing all these days, LaRussa rests him the day BEFORE a day off, but i guess to get him 2 days....i still like walker, Mabry, Edmonds, and Grudz against this guy, think they can hit him, and look for a 7 inning 2 run type performance from Morris....

We will see, but thanks for the headsup, sometimes i neglect to look at the lineups, only the pitchers...

Make notes to yourself, what you're doing right. We all analyze what was wrong when slumping, but it's just as important to make note of what's going right, too.

Gotta admit, that WAS pretty accurate wasnt it...?

LOL, i usually dont brag too much, but i am proud of calling that one ALMOST right on.....He went 7 2/3 giving up 2 ER......

Another "fav" play comes through, not sure how many in a row that is, but its a few, so we are 2-0, +4.36 units so far today

Well, unfortunately, we will have to update that to reflect the Cubs loss today, after losing the lead....the bullpen did a good job today, again, but Maddux was hurt by the 2 out 2 run homer in the 5th, and Washington held on..

2-1, +2.36 units so far...
