Do you guys know people do actually do things like that? I mean it's not hard at all. All you need is 4 different ip addresses and your safe. Go into the same poker room and take over the tables.

What would happen if you would get cought? Are there big consiquances or do they just ban you from the site?

With all the scammers in this world, there is alot of this that goes on. No need to be in one room. 3 other friends in different states make it less evident, but I do believe if you think it is happening, then you can report it and if staffed properly a site could monitor these individuals activity. I assume it is done alot. I have been approached by others about doing just this, but my conscience will not go for that type of thing. It is easy enough to find drunken misfits throwing money away at tables if you look around.

People will always find ways to make money. The thing is....online poker just exploded. So many kids even play it for money i mean big money too for thier age. What cable channel doesen't show poker events. I think there are just a lot of incompetent people out there at the moment. And with so much money being thrown in these poker rooms... there is always space for scammers. General is right... get on the phone... and start playing. What can they do to you? How can they prove it? They can't, unless there are some heavy regulations on even hits of scamming than maybe. But without proof they might just tell you not to play with the same people and that's that.

Btw General i don't mean you're right about doing the scam but just about the phone thing.

About 3 years ago I knew a few people who were doing very well beating Paradise Poker. They were eventually caught and the remaining funds that they had were taken from them and they are still "not allowed" to play there.
