Getting On This One Early.....

Over 9 Tampa Bay/Detroit

Really like the over here in this one. Both starters are very hittable, as both are giving up many more hits than innings pitched. Both have ERA's right around 4.00. Fossum is flat out terrible. Johnson can be very errratic and has shown he can get blasted. Both offenses are capable of putting up some runs, both averaging around 5 runs per game. Two subpar bullpens. I'll take the over.

Line is now over 9 +112 at Pinny. Also available are over 8.5 at -114 and over 8 at -134. Anybody have any clue as to why this total is moving and Pinny is shading this one towards the under? :icon_conf

I read that Dmitri Young and Pudge both might sit out this game. This might have something to do with it.

That may have something to do with it. Thanks for the input. I still like this one and would play the over at 8.5. Even though these guys may sit this one out, it does not change the fact that the two starters are very subpar. Fossum is terrible. I see DD runs in this one.

I agree. Those two guys are not such powerhouses that missing them will cripple the Tigers. If you were going to play the over, their absence shouldn't affect your play. I'm new to MLB wagering so I have been sticking mostly to sides not totals. GL!
