Are you talking about the balance in your sportsbook accounts. Or the amount of money you have alocated to deposit in your sportsbooks over the course of the year.

What I mean by this. If you have 5000 total in your sportsbook accounts, but have an additional say 5000 that you can deposit over the course of the rest of the year. Should your plays be a % of 5000 or a % of 10000.

I would say the latter (that's how I do it anyway) so long as you have the discipline to not spend the difference before it makes its way to a book.

i would say 5% of 10,000...

I would use liquid net worth and bet a percentage of that using the kelly criterion. This is very aggressive but it can also be very profitable. Example, if your estimated winning percentage is 57% you would wager 9.7% of your bankroll. More often than not you run will run into the problem of not being able to get down.
