When i first saw tonights card I said to myself I am all over houston, however after looknig at the game more in depth I have reached a stale mate. Ok houston beats frisco the other night 9-0 right. lets say Ensberg DOESNT have the game of his life and go yard 3 times 4-0 houston... Lets say biggio doesnt connect as well. 2-0 houston. The point I am getting at is that houston is struggling.Everything came together the other night and i was glad that they got the win, as i was on them. tonight is a different story. on paper RIGHT NOW i see vazquez and oswalt DEAD EVEN. With the bats I have to give the edge to arizona. bagwell is out and berkman is a stiff. Ive got this line at a PK. And i believe vegas does as well and they hung the 140 130 whatever looknig for coat-tailers reeling from houstons national tv win the other night. There is value in vazquez ... I am not sayin I am on him however These are jsut a few points I would liek to share. I cannot see an 0-2 with arizona and the under however I could be dead wrong. Please share your opinions.....................

I will end this post with a quote from Deniro in the movie casino..
"Thats the truth about vegas, were the only winners....the players dont stand a chance" GL please get back to this and share your angles...

In my eyes the Astros have been struggling. Plays on them are few and far between other than Clemens. But tonight the side in my eyes is the Dbacks +125. Vazquez is a consistent pitcher for the most part and their bats should be knocking in the small ball yard tonight. Glaus is expected back as well.

Yeah my side is the Backs here

another point that i jsut came across...Look at the play by play from vazquez's past two starts.......first pitch strike jsut about everytime......which if u know anything about the sport.that widens that plate greatly..

If there are any houston backers out there please share your insight as i am interested to know what you are betting on..

Agree with you on Arizona.Vasquez seems to have settled in nicely after a rough start.Glaus is another plus and just feel that Ariz's bats are much stronger at this point plus you get Ariz at +124.I'm playing Ariz +124 and Ariz -1.5 +200.

astros (12-7 at home) winners of 2 in a row.
oswalt (3-0 1.23) career against az.

They will be without bagwell all season. Stiff or not, Berkman can get hot and is dangerous at times.

Just comments, i actually like the over 7.5 (+1.11)... they cant continue to play low scoring games at this park (can they?)...

Damn 1800, you ask for reasons to back the Astros, then you slam a guy for making valid points. SSI is right on the money here. The play is the over. The game is a toss up. I'm rooting for Arizona as my 100-1 to win the National League looks better every day.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Last 2 starts have gone over
OSWALT is 3-0 when starting against AZ with an ERA of 1.27

Javier V
Road Starts 2.70 ERA 3-1

I think w/ the announcement of Bagwell going on the DL, that this team will play better....no lingering questions of if Bag's will comeback.
Berkmans been back for a week and this team plays much better at home.

Astros play here..:toast:
