revenge for the stupid book practice of the LOG OUT

I am so sick of these log outs at all of these books. If they want to drive their customers away, I'm all for it. I go away.They don't get my action, the non-log out books do.

I was capping baseball tonight and Seattle is +148 at Pinnacle, Hollywood and WSEX. Since WSEX doesnt log me out and by the time I had capped all my bets I would have been logged out at Hollywood and Pinnacle, I bet at WSEX. I ALWAYS bet baseball at WSEX when they tie with log out books for the best line.

I would encourage everyone else to bet at books that don't log you out when you can and take away business from those who do. I can not begin to count how many extra baseball bets I have put in at WSEX this year because of this policy. Great job WSEX, great baseball lines and great customer service!!!! :103631605

Good post. Timeouts are for basketball and football, not sportsbooks. Would be nice to see a concerted effort to do away with these. These books deserve props for no timing out:

If the books require a password anyway to place a wager, why require it twice. (Pinnacle, Bet Jamaica, Cris.). I AM TALKING ABOUT YOU!

I dont understand betjamaica. As I understand it, its the same people in control as Olympic, which has no time out, white Jamaica times out SUPER fast. WSEX gets way more of my bets due to this. From now on, I am going to give the non- log out books ALL of my basketball and football action too when the best line I can get is tied with log out books. For instance if everyone in the world has Florida St -16 in football and I want FSU, I'll give the action to a non log out book like WSEX over a log out book, even if I am ready to bet not going to have to log in again at the log out book.

I AM SICK OF WASTING MY TIME LOGGING IN ALL THE TIME!!!! I AM GOING TO VOTE WITH MY WALLET!

Timeouts are necessary for most books to protect them. Without, we would see alot more trouble from some good books and obscure books.

Good policy. For me ties always go to WSEX because their software is the fastest. Time-out is annoying as hell though and I agree with what you're doing.

Please sportsbooks, I'm an adult! I don't need anyone protecting me from myself!!!!

use ROBOFORM, you can then quickly log back in without actually 'TYPING' in your user name & password again....

15 minutes is still good for me on a time out. Anything below that can be a pain but when I'm looking to bet it usually only takes a few minutes to get things done unless you are someone trying to catch steam numbers before they get hit and the time out costs you the number.

I agree..we should make a huge stink on this issue..i can't tell u how many times a 2nd half line moved on me because my sportsbook timed out!...Some of these site must time out at after 3 minutes...

The best innovation would be if a sports book could develop software that was in real time, (i guess it would have to be Java) something like the Don Best screen

WWTS is a good book. I have money there but I dont even go there to look at their baseball lines because they log out so fast.

I am not playing steam or scalping. This is my second year of trying to 'cap baseball games on my own instead of relying on somebody from the forum who seems smart. I want to see if I can pick winners on my own. I bring up 5 or so books with a dime line to look for the best line and cap the games one by one. By the time I may try to bet a game at a book, I'm logged out. Im sick of it. I'm barely above water this year and I was last year too. Im no super sharp capper. Books should want my baseball action.

Log In/Out cost me this past March, and though I blame myself for not being ready for some posts and halftimes, it still is a pain-in-the-arse.

Also, some book's bet place boxes are real filibusters at post, when the red flag goes up, it sends one scrambling to offshore phones or locals to get put on.

It shouldn't take an Act Of Congress to get down by a BM, unless you are Senator Kyl and Co.

(I'm not looking for a fight about the overall quality of any of these. I'm just saying they don't log you out after 3 and a half bloody seconds!)
