Are there any off shore books left that still hand write bets over the phone rather than just access your on-line account and place the bet for you on their computer?

By the way, I seriously rather doubt it.

I dont think no more Offshore, but in the past so many books were skeptical to go to Computers, because they were scared that it would be real easy to steal from them, I know quite a few that knows zero about computers including myself. but Sportsbetting has changed so much in the last 10yrs, years ago it wasnt any posting up it was all credit, most were through an Agent, but you still had credit Independent players too. With all the postup players you have these days, you couldnt keep up with it on handwritten tickets, players would bet more than they had posted up, even if you had a big black board and you would subtract everytime a postup player made a play, if you had a handful of players you probably could keep up with it, but if you had any kind of busines at all, you would have a hard time keeping up with it. Computers is the only way to go these days. I know Computers have hurt ticket writers tremendously, they dont need the excellent ticket writers anymore, but they still need experienced help, which the majority doesnt think so, its always better to pay a few extra dollars for better help, they dont feel that is true anymore. I use to love writing hand tickets, and I was pretty swift writing and on the phone, but I will never see those days anymore. I know a friend of mine that was making $100 a day now he makes $5 an hour and works 25-30 hours a week and has a Wife and three kids to support, kinda hard to support a Family making $600 a month, oh how times have changed...

Before I found the rx, I played at Betonsports.com. They had a special where you could get a two-team teaser at reduced juice, but you had to call in. I took advantage of the offer, but they told me that it would not show up on my accounts until after the games, and that they had record of it by a handwritten ticket. That was two years ago.

Every post up player that makes any kind of wager, the money will be deducted out of his account the minute he makes the wager. most all Sportbooks that I know will take single or double if win bets in the computer with no problems...
