Whatever happened to Bill Balilo,who owned the Hollywood Sportsbook, Downtown L.V.? He was a hands-on owner, and you could always see him out front, looking over the shoulders of his ticket writers.

Sam Angel got me for $300 recently. I kind of felt good giving him the $300 for he was so happy. I gave the watches to the dealers and they were also happy.
I did get a pen with Sam's name on it from him.

I,GAMBLER.....Bill Baleo (sp) was Harry Gordons son in law. Harry owned three race/sportsbooks. Harry stayed at Churchill Downs, Bill at the Hollywood and another son in law at the Derby. Both got out of the books. Bill has something to do with pay phones in LV last I heard.....Scotty
