Finally! Kolb gets the boot!

About time this useless closer gets the boot as he's killed me a fair share of times this season.

Dan Kolb is getting bounced from the closer's role in favor of Adam Bernero, manager Bobby Cox indicated today.
Kolb had put together a string of scoreless innings until blowing his third save last night, but he never actually looked very good while doing it. He'll be used in middle relief for now. May. 18 - 3:04 pm et

That is great news for Atlanta fans...I would have to think the Braves will be looking to make a move before the trade deadline for a closer.

Yeah they will definitely make a move to bolster their pen. I bet there is no limit on the contract either. They waste all of their money on this great starting pitching if they blow games in the 8th and 9th. They'll get a big name guy somebody is trying to unload.

Yuck...I don't like him either...but I'm glad Kolb got removed!!! He just plain sucks...he is not a strikeout closer...like Smoltzie was...I would love to have him back...but he is doing awesome as a starter!!!
