Baseball betting strategy/question...

Ok this may be a stupid question seeing as I don't know too much about baseball betting (more of a football/hoops guy), but here it goes...Ok, so would it be a good idea to bet the runline on a favorite at, lets say, -1.5 at +140, then bet the underdog on the moneyline at +133? Since the favorite might only win by one run maybe once every day, betting everygame like this would seem to be profitable...then again maybe i'm just being a rookie and I don't know what i'm talking about....hit me up guys...

Not to say that this is bad in every situation at all times, but if you just do this blindly all the time and consensus numbers, you will be beat.

Won't work the favorite will win by one run to often causing you to lose both bets.

bad idea unless you know EXACTLY how much + vig you need to overcome the 1 run home team win scenario long term.
