Pitchers begin getting themselves in the proper mind frame for a start from the moment they wake up. They have a routine. If this guy was told he is going to start today and he didn't know that when he woke up, it's tough. Whether he went out last night and had a few beers in his hometown, or knocked it out with his wife 6 times, or didn't eat his typical pre-game meal. I didn't think Detroit should have been favored this high anyway, even with Bonderman. They're playing .500 ball, they aren't dominant enough to lay -170. Too much value with the D-Rays, and they are due.
Just offering a discussion. Not trying to knock your selection. Sorry to be on the other side. Have a great day!
