ooooooh. see i dont want to be crushed. believe me im driving the bucsfan bus and picking up passengers everyday. plus a few others here. if its really a danger why give back everything weve (YOU) worked so hard to gain? i hope everyone expresses thier thoughts on this. i posted this for more than myself. theres an army of lurkers who are wondering the same thing so i speak for them. my gf is one of them and it was she who asked me this question.~RG

Interleague play can be tricky, my advice is to proceed with caution. The games take on a different feel than normal regular season play, probably because of the many natural rivalries that are sheduled eg. Yanks-Mets, Dodgers-Angels, Giants-A's, Astros-Rangers, White Sox-Cubs, Reds-Indians etc. Plus the DH being added or subtracted according to the site of every game.

I couldn't have said it better If I said it myself, when 'Wilheim' said "The games take on a different feel." It's so true. There is hardly ever any head to head stats to go by, pitchers always have the advantage, and the whole DH thing scares me. Like last year I'll probably take a zero, unless I see a couple of strong trends or something. It'll give me an opportunity to hide from the wife and kids and catch up on some beer guzzling. :sofabck :drink:

Or maybe I'll just :dancefool

interleague games definitely play a bit different in terms of atmosphere and such, but the game of baseball never changes and if you look at the right things and have a good feel for the game, it's not a problem. national league teams have the advantage in interleague play

It's so funny....you know how all of you think I'm a moronic loser? Well, Mrs. Riggs thinks I'm a MLB genius! I've pretty much made back all the money I lost in basketball, in just 6 weeks of Baseball. Yea, she braggs to her girl friends that I'm the "Babe Ruth" in the handicapping world! Can you believe that? Talk about not having a clue. But I think I'll just let her continue to believe it. What do you think Roxy? Should I let her in the RX for a day or so? I think not!

Not if you win lol, Some teams have better records then others in interleague play and some teams beat others more, keep a eye on the individual teams.

Roxy, every season is different. With that being said, I made my season the last few years on interleague play. I feel especially in the rivalry series. Yank/Mets
Sox/cubs Rangers/Astros Reds/Indians etc.... these teams are all giving 100%. I love handicapping 2 teams that go all out. You dont have to worry about the motivation factors. All you have to do is figure out if team A is better than team B, making my job a whole lot easier.

The Devil Rays have had few highlights since entering the league in 1998, but they enjoyed a month-long stretch of success against NL opponents in 2004.

Tampa Bay posted a major league-best 15-3 interleague mark last season The Devil Rays reeled off a franchise-record 12 straight wins during the month of June, with 11 in a row coming against NL foes.

The Orioles hope to fare better against the NL after struggling to a 5-13 mark in interleague play last season.

- Minnesota went 11-7 in interleague play in 2004

When TB can do that I guess interleague play is dangerous and these are a few others.

IF YOU BET BASEBALL, CONTINUE SO WITH INTERLEAGUE BASEBALL. It won't crush you any more than INTRALEAGUE baseball , believe me. The American League parks do have both teams with designated hitters, so scores (and totals by the oddsmakers) should be a tad higher. In the National League parks, both pitchers have to hit ( if theres an American League pitcher whos never had to hit, then that may be a SMALL factor) . But you are MISSING OUT if you lay off of interleague baseball

Interleague Play

Roxy girl

If you play a theory of looking at the entire series and not just one game to make the money, then interleague play is no different than regular league play. Continue to follow the cappers you like and add to your bankroll.
