Gonna tread lightly, interleague is a whole different monster, and 2 out of the last 3 days have not gone so well. Released the Tigers game yesterday before it was known Bonderman wouldn't start. Counts in the record anyway, all games are considered action. The reason given for Bonderman being pushed back 1 day was "tired arm". I'm gonna sit back and watch Bonderman pitch tonight, to see how he responds, so no action on the Tigers game tonight.

Minnesota -1 1/2 (+141) (1 unit)...Good matchup for Silva, imo. He's not what I'd call a 'great" pitcher, but you gotta earn your baserunners against him. He's only walked 2 guys all year. Not good news for a team (Milwaukee) that has trouble scoring runs. Gonna fade Gary Glover once again, he's one of those guys who needs run support to be successful, and he's on the wrong team for that. Fortunately for the Brewers, their bullpen has been outstanding, because Glover usually doesn't go past 5 IP. Minny came back nicely froma tough stretch to win the last 2 vs. Toronto, and this organization and it's fans are always motivated to beat the Brewers after Bud Selig wanted to contract them, so maybe Mill would have more fans. Brewers come in losing 3 of 4 at Wash.

NY Yanks/NY Mets OVER 10 (-110) (1 unit)...This series has belonged to the hitters the last couple seasons. The Yanks come into this one hitting EVERYTHING, and the Mets just got through smacking the Reds around. Both starting pitchers (Brown and Zambrano) come into this one with era's of 6.08 and 5.45. Brown's problems have been well documented, but Zambrano is also much maligned, was penciled in earlier this week as a long relever, in case Ishii or Glavine were to struggle the last couple days. He may end up in the bullpen or as trade-bait in the near future.

Washington +115 (1 unit)...I'm not gonna read too much into Vargas' last start vs. Millwaukee. He got everything up in the zone last time out and got spanked pretty good. On the other hand, I'm reading a whole lot into the struggles of Ted Lilly. Evnen he has no clue what he's doing wrong, sounds like he's frustrated and has lost lots of confidence. This will be the Nationals return to Canada, so this is by no means "just another interleague game" for them. Wash just gott hrough taking 3 of 4 from Millwaukee and 2 of 3 from the Cubs before that. Jays' bat were silenced by the Twins in the last 2, after they lit up Johan Santana. Wash has been hitting pretty good vs. LHP's.

Roxy, is Ego one of the cappers you follow in MLB since you dont handicap the games yourself? Looks like he has a good record this year.

I don't know of a single book that doesn't cancel run line wagers if the listed starter doesn't throw the first pitch. If you played the Tiger's laying 1-1/2 runs with the pitching matchup of Bonderman and Kazmir, any book would cancel the wager. You would've had to re-submit the runline play with Maroth/Kazmir for the wager to have counted.

The book did cancel it, but it counts on my record here. I should've been more clear.

I could see you counting a straight moneyline bet...but a run line bet should not count. Run lines are automatically listed pitchers and you specifically talked about Bonderman in your write up. No way that should count against you.

Like a said, I could see you counting a straight ML wager...but no way a run line would count.

Just my 2 cents...no matter how you look at it, you are doing an incredible job. Keep up the great work!

Have to agree with Clip Joint ego. You should adjust your record for the Detroit game as a no play. No one would count it against you and I can't think of any books that don't have action on run lines if the listed pitchers do start (if there is one somebody please chime in here). Besides, if you would have won I'm sure a couple people would have chimed in with "why are you counting it" theories. Keep up the good work.

thanks for the props, guys. I put that Det game in the loss column for recordkeeping purposes (and tracker forum purposes). That game's behind me, I'm more concerned about my subpar picks the past few days. See if I can get back in my "groove" this weekend!!!
