Another winning day yesterday. I'm going to have to stop, drop and roll soon. Nice card today for interleague play. Many people are scared of interleague, but interleague is your friend. Couple value favorites, and a couple dogs. I got some extra time, so I gave a brief overview of the logic behind the picks.

(2 unit) White Sox -115 (Garcia)
White Sox are just the better team here. Don't have to dish out much chalk. Cubs have some injuries, they can't score much, and ChiSox can put up runs in a hurry. ChiSox find ways to win and very comfortable putting my money on them at this price.
(1 unit) Braves -110 (Hudson)
Hudson's familiar with pitching in Fenway from his Oakland days, and he's the better performer in this matchup between pitchers and we are getting him at a great price. This is a one unit play because I question the Braves bullpen, and ability to outscore Boston at Fenway. Too much pressure for Hudson to pitch perfect IMO, but this price for this pitcher is too good to pass up.
(1 unit)Tigers -125 (Bonderman)
Arizona is playing well on their road trip and handling some good pitchers. I bet with them the past few days including last night against Clemens. But I think it stops here. They travel again, now end up in Detroit and face Bonderman who is one of the best young pitchers in the game. Detroit just dropped one to the D-Rays and they need to get a win at home to get back to .500 and Bonderman is set at a great price.
(1 unit) Blue Jays -127
Toronto at home in the dome. Lilly is a great competitor and I just don't think the Nationals can score enough to keep up with the Jays today.
(1 unit) Phillies/Orioles OV 9.5 EV
Phillies offense is hot and the Orioles offense is always hot. Philly gets to use a DH today. Should be a high scoring affair.

:dogtoilet All dogs 2 units.
Rockies +135 (Wright)
Colorado clearly has the better offense in this match and Wright is a much different pitcher away from Coors. Rockies are playing some better baseball lately, finding ways to blow teams out, and win close ones like yesterday's 3-1 final. Redman won't get much run support and he'll have to pitch lights out in order to beat the Rockies, and he's just not capable enough to lay chalk on him.
Devil Rays +175 (Nomo)
Absolutely ridiculous to lay -210 on Leiter with the amount of people he walks. Devil Rays have shown the ability to beat teams. Nomo has beaten the Yankees. Devil Rays went 4-2 vs. the Fish last year in interleague play. Great price.
Astros +160
Pitchers get into slumps and streaks just like hitters do. Backe pitched incredible last game, and now he is going again at +160? Houston's offense is bad but maybe the DH can light some fire into their offense at +160 too good to pass. Texas simply isn't good enough to be favored this high and Backe is getting great odds.
Padres +110 Peavy
Padres are hot and get to use the DH. I like Peavy as a pitcher. But I don't want to lay -140 on him, so I just made this a run line and see if the Padres can put up some extra runs and Peavy hold the Mariners in check.

3-2 (+1.65)

Not a good day for underdogs. Most favorites are winning. Still managing to stay up on the day though even though its been rough.
In light of how this day is going for favorites I'm adding:

(1 unit) LA Angels (-125) Washburn
Erickson is a below average pitcher, Dodgers have been overachieving all year. Washburn can be dominant at times and the Angels are the more consistent team. Favorites have been winning looking for that trend to continue.
