jerseymike- That happens all the time. Try making a wager with Pinnacle on their football lines between the 1st and 2nd quarter or between the 3rd and 4th quarter. You've got a better shot of getting struck by lightning than you do of getting the wager in. It's a software problem that could be corrected; if they wanted to correct it.

Does any book (excluding exchanges) let you put in a limit order like stocks? Seems like that would solve your problems... also might get the book better numbers, if your limit is higher than the odds they post. That way when the move their odds, all limit orders would be checked and filled... not sure if bettors would even like this as I am not a big gambler.
This is what U do. there is a setting for automatic refreshing lines at the half. When you decide your pick put it in and confirm it quick. Lines at the half change quick and the juice goes to -140 sometimes. Que the bet and confirm it. They will give you a little time just don't DDick around. I am King at the half and dont have a problem with this. Most of the time I know what I want and jump it before the big juice kicks in.
