Not a lot happening tonight so I thought maybe posters could give their opinions as to an early view of the NFC NORTH. Personally, I think Baltimore have had their chances and are now on the slippery slope defense wise. The Steelers had a great Year but their weakness was found out in the Play-offs, their running game will be in trouble this year. The Browns will be having a well deserved make-over, even with their talent, next year will be a pass. Which leaves the Bungles, given average luck with injuries, they will be almost unstoppable on Offense. Although they are weak on Defense, they are basing their operations on being in front and pass rush. Bet you didnt know they had the top CBs in the league last year.

Well spotted Journey :103631605 Just shows, even being as perfect as me one can make the odd mistake. So, whats your unbiased view. Seriously, I really think The Ravens are at the point of folding. They have a great management structure and I cant fault them over the years, things just havent fallen into place. Last season I just got the feeling they were going down-hill defense wise, couldnt stop the run, and then letting some long bombs in. My opinion is also coming from a stand-point where I backed them for the division and The Superbowl.

the defens probably will not be quite as great as its been,,,the offense will be much better...I see a minimum of 11 wins...the schedule isn't as strong and they now have 3 receivers to throw to...the team was decimated with injuries last year....the window is starting to close some on that great defene IMO....still time though.

Journey,

I backed them big last year, Division and Superbowl, on the reasoning they had a what looked like an easy schedule and I could hedge out at a smaller price in no time. The reality was, they struggled all year long and people on here and friends were telling me things I didnt want to hear at the time. In hindsight, I feel they were right and I had the blinkers on. Injury wise, which is probably the biggest impact on a Team outside of the Pats, The steelers had an unreal year which odds say cant happen again and The Bungles had the worse record in the NFL for injuries.

afc north is a 2 team race...

I look forward to Roethlisburger being exposed as an average QB as he was in the playoffs.

Spot on Nore, he looked good against teams who couldnt stop the run. One of the tell-tale signs in the NFL is throws and completions, any QB can look good throwing minimal passes .

I could see Ben having a rough Sophomore year...no doubt he hit the wall late last year.

Roethlisberger might regress, but he still will be a whole lot better than Boller

Browns will be brutal early, with a new coach, system, defense. Pitt might slide a hair also. To me its between Baltimore and Cincinnati.
